The road to DJH
Born not so long ago in 2021, DJH was founded on a fantastic opportunity – the merger of two of Stoke-on-Trent’s leading firms. But since then, we’ve not looked back. We’ve gone from strength to strength, with more like-minded firms joining us on our mission to achieve great things.
Together, we’re an experienced, Top 40 accountancy and business advisory group, who share the same values and ambitions, and most importantly, a passion for people.
We’ve also transformed the way we work, unlocking a new era of decision-making to provide expert human advice, driven by tech.
With offices across the UK, we’re never far away from clients, to allow us to have those tricky conversations to support businesses in achieving their ambitions.

We’re a multidisciplinary team of 600+, who offer our clients a full service of accounts, audit, tax, payroll, capital allowance, corporate finance and commercial funding. Our great team are the reason we can do what we do.

2025 - Derby
Derby based Ashgates joined our group in July 2024, rebranding to DJH Derby in October 2025, alongside Ashgates IT who rebranded to become DJH Tech Partners. -
2025 - Halesowen
Halesowen based Nicklin joined our group in June 2025, rebranding to take on the DJH name in September 2025. -
2025 - Chester City, Liverpool & Wirral
In September 2025, we acclerated our North West expansion with the acquisition of three Haines Watts offices in Chetser, Liverpool & the Wirral. -
2025 - Dublin
In July 2025, Dublin based MSD joined the DJH group, marking our first Irish acquisition. -
2025 - People & HR
In May 2025, Innov8 Human Resources rebranded to become DJH People & HR. -
2025 - Beswicks Legal Private Wealth team
The private wealth team from Beswicks Legal joined DJH Estate Planning in May 2025, doubling the size of our estate planning team. -
2025 - Bexley
In April 2025, Bexley based McBrides joined the DJH group, marking our first acquisition in the South. -
2024 - Bury
Bury based DTE Business Advisers joined our group in December 2023, rebranding in late 2024, alongside DTE Corporate Finance and Transactions services. -
2024 - Rebrand to DJH
In April 2024, DJH Mitten Clarke rebranded, becoming DJH. -
2023 - Nantwich
In October 2023, Nantwich based firm Lyon Griffiths joined our Group. -
2023 - Altrincham
In October 2023, we welcomed Haines Watts Altrincham to our Group, -
2023 - Huddersfield
In September 2023, Huddersfield based firm Revell Ward joined our Group. -
2023 - Leeds
Morley based Novis & Co joined the Group in March, launching us in to Yorkshire. -
2022 - Walsall
Leading Walsall practice, Bakers, were acquired becoming a substantial second West Midlands office for the Group. -
2021 - Manchester
Always an ambition to open a substantial office in Manchester City Centre, the acquisition of Lloyd Piggott did just that. -
2021 - Chester
Becoming the Chester office for the Group, the partnership with Morris & Co brought with it specialist, market-leading knowledge of the dental, franchise and ophthalmic sectors. -
2021 - Merger
Staffordshire’s leading accountancy firms, Mitten Clarke and DJH, took the fantastic opportunity to merge and come together. And just like that, DJH Mitten Clarke was born.
