I always knew whilst growing up that I wanted to become an accountant. I found a training opportunity at an independent chartered firm in Newcastle upon Tyne, and that’s where it began.

I have now been working in accountancy since 1990, along the way qualifying as a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) and The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and finally, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW).

I am passionate about helping clients, and my style is offering advice in a straight talking and transparent way.

After just 3 years of being an Accounts Manager in 2005, I became a Director.

I was really keen to make a difference and build trusted partnerships to provide support and enable growth. My key areas of specialisms cover, general accounts preparation, charity reporting and Solicitors accounts reports. I am also highly experienced within both personal and corporate taxation.

This can all be enhanced by being part of the bigger team of DJH.
