Ashgates joins our Group

We’re pleased to announce long established Derby based firm, Ashgates, have joined the DJH group, spring boarding us into the East Midlands, expanding our footprint alongside our existing 10 offices across the Midlands, North-West, and Yorkshire regions.

Ashgates has a comprehensive range of services, including a specialist team delivering IT support and solutions, further expanding the services we offer our clients across the Group.

Scott Heath, Chief Executive Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Ashgates is a great cultural fit, sharing our team-first, client-centric approach. Founded on principles of progressive thinking and building strong client relationships, they have built a business based on delivering exceptional business advice.”

Tony Lymn, Director at Ashgates, said “We are delighted to join forces with DJH. This partnership  will strengthen both firms’ capabilities and provide our clients access to additional specialist services. It will also allow continued investment in the learning and development of our team, creating opportunities for them to grow and flourish.”

The partnership reinforces our commitment to strategic growth through carefully selected M&A to enhance both our presence in the industry and our services. In the last 12 months, we’ve welcomed Lyon Griffiths in Nantwich, Haines Watts in Altrincham, Revell Ward in Huddersfield, DTE in Bury, and specialist dental accountants Minford Dental into our fold.

Scott Heath added, “Our recent partnerships have strengthened our position within the professional services sector, supporting SMEs across the UK with accounting and business advisory services. We’re excited about the opportunities this partnership with Ashgates will create for our teams and clients alike.”
