Twenty New Starters Equals Growth

Since we announced the merger of Mitten Clarke and DJH in March this year, we’ve continued to deliver on our ambitious growth plans, having welcomed 20 new recruits to our Stoke-on-Trent office, taking our total headcount to 141.

The reinforcement both enhances the service and expert advice offered to our clients across the Midlands and North-West and also demonstrates our commitment to boosting jobs in Staffordshire.

The fresh-new faces have arrived across the practice, within accounts, audit, bookkeeping, client services, payrollVAT, commercial finance, administration, marketing and recruitment teams, creating capacity all-round and offering development opportunities for the existing team.

Throughout the pandemic, we have been supporting businesses in accessing all-important Government furlough, loan and business support schemes, but now more than ever, are working hard to offer critical advice to ensure businesses bounce back quickly once restrictions are lifted completely. Whether it’s helping with cash flow forecasts, providing advice around future strategy, assisting clients to ensure they have the right structure in place and supporting them with payment plans or deferrals, the multidisciplinary team has been on-hand.

“We’ve always aimed high and our ambitious growth targets reflect that, so it has been important to not only bolster our services teams, but also strengthen the infrastructure across our support teams so that we continue to innovate within the market,” said Operations Director, James Beardmore.

“Planning for the future is more valuable than ever if businesses are going to bounce back quickly from the effects of the pandemic. This is where we stand out from the crowd, our team has bright ideas and are passionate about helping our clients achieve their goals.”

“Teamwork is our number one value, and this goes without saying for our client relationships too. Our clients appreciate us being on the end of the phone and tend to run most things past us. They value our impartial recommendations and honest conversations. The new appointments will ensure that we continue to deliver this first-class service whilst we continue on our upward growth trajectory.”

We are extremely excited by the growth of the team and can’t wait to continue achieving great things together in the future.
