We took part in The Great Manchester 10k

Eight team members ran The Great Manchester 10k on 21 May, raising over £800 for Maggie’s Cancer Centre.

Ben, Jake, Helen, Ian, Ashley, Joe, Harry and Joshua put their best foot forward, to take part in the event to raise money for Maggie’s, a charity extremely close to the hearts of the team in Manchester.

Sue Redmond, who heads up our City Centre office said “As a firm with an office based in the heart of the wonderful city, its vital to give back to the local community and support causes who help those in need.

“Maggie’s Cancer Centre is a brilliant charity, who offers the best possible support to anyone with cancer and their families.” Sue continued, “We’re incredibly proud of our 8 runners who braced the unexpected northern weather to take on the challenge, whilst we cheered them on from the side-line!”

Chief Executive Officer, Scott Heath, also commented on the brave volunteers who took on the challenge in the glorious sunshine, “Giving back to the community is something we’ve ingrained in our core values, and aside from it being lots of fun to try out new activities as a team, we’ve met some great people and charities along the way.”

“Maggie’s Cancer Centre provide free, crucial support to those and their loved ones battling cancer, and for us, it’s always made sense to support charitable causes in the areas we operate in. The team did a fantastic job and enjoyed the event whilst raising money for an important cause.”
