Life Saving Defibrillator Funded for Local Flyball Team

We are thrilled to announce that we have sponsored local flyball team, ‘Carry On’s’, to acquire a life-saving defibrillator.

Flyball, a thrilling dog sport that involves relay racing and agility, has gained immense popularity in the Stoke area. So, when the opportunity arose to fund a defibrillator for ‘Carry On’s’, we stepped forward to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the team members, their fellow teams and their furry athletes.

Andrew Pickerill, a member of ‘Carry On’s’ and Audit Supervisor, expressed his gratitude for the support, stating, “As someone who is passionate about both flyball and the community, I am immensely grateful to DJH Mitten Clarke for sponsoring our team and providing us with a defibrillator. This helps to enhance our team’s preparation, should there be a life-threatening situation, but also demonstrates the firm’s commitment to supporting local sports and ensuring the safety of participants.”

James Beardmore, Chief Operating Officer, emphasised the firm’s dedication to local communities, saying, “At DJH Mitten Clarke, we believe in utilising our resources to make a positive impact on the communities we serve. Our Great Ideas Grant allows us to give back and support initiatives, like sponsoring ‘Carry On’s’ in acquiring a defibrillator. We’re proud to be part of this great initiative and promote the well-being of both flyball athletes and their beloved canine companions.”

We have always been committed to supporting local communities through various initiatives. By sponsoring ‘Carry On’s’ and providing them with a defibrillator, it demonstrates our dedication to the well-being and safety of local organisations.
