Sarah Glass at DJH Nantwich

Sarah Glass

Client Services Director, Nantwich

Having started my working life as a Dental Nurse, I decided to return to college after starting my family to train as an accountant. I previously worked at Mitten Clarke, which was part of the merger which became DJH, and that is where I became qualified.

The experience and training held me in good stead as I moved around the accountancy world. More recently I did a stint in industry which was great to see the world from the other side and made me appreciate even more the life of the owner-managed business at an operational level.

I returned to DJH in the summer of 2024 and am excited to be part of the Nantwich team, as well as the local business community.

  • What makes DJH great

There’s a real team spirit, collaborating across the group and utilising the wealth of knowledge that we have.

Everyone is there to help and support each other which means in turn we are able to give our clients the support they need when they need it.

  • My most trusted piece of advice in business is…

Always make time to work on your business not just in your business. The busy lives of our clients often means they don’t get as much time to spend working on the direction of the business which means very often decisions can be reactive. Always prioritise some time away from the business to work out where you want to go, running a business can be a lonely place but its my role to help you navigate this and achieve those longer term goals for success.

  • On a Saturday morning, you’ll usually find me…

Cheering on the side lines at grassroots football supporting my son and then getting ready for an afternoon of more shouting and cheering as we head off to Vale Park to support the Valiants!
