Group Financial Controller

Having worked in practice for 8 years while completing my ACCA qualification and working in a variety of roles for a wide range and size of clients, I decided I wanted to move into industry in 2019 when I joined DJH as the Management Accountant. Since then I have progressed and I am now the Group Financial Controller.

My responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the finance team, with the main monthly responsibility of ensuring the management pack is delivered to the board on time.

In my role, I visit various offices within the group and at every office, the people are very helpful and welcoming which makes it a great environment to work in.
My most trusted piece of advice in business is…

Make sure that everyday, you do something (no matter how small) to help achieve your goals. And also make sure that you continuously look in the rear view mirror to make sure you remind yourself how far you have come.
