We’ve added a commercial funding expert to the team

Our business is known for its award-winning accountancy services, but we are now broadening our horizons and offering our clients commercial funding advisory solutions.

We've added a commercial funding expert to the team

This latest venture will be led by the newly appointed Head of Commercial Finance, David Wright, who previously worked in Banking, Finance and Debt Advisory at Azets UK.

The new team, who will be based across our Staffordshire, Manchester and Chester offices, will offer a range of services and advice including; unsecured funding, commercial mortgages, working capital solutions and specialist funding such as growth capital and M&A finance.

With the industry constantly changing, the Commercial Finance Team will identify the right funders and structures for businesses, ensuring honest and trustworthy advice, whilst reducing the time burden of a funding process allowing management teams to focus on the day to day running of their business.

David said “I am extremely excited to be taking the lead on this new venture with such a great practice. I’ve been fortunate throughout my career to work closely with a number of fantastic management teams, providing funding advice aligned to their plans, whilst working across a range of sectors. I am looking forward to putting my knowledge and experience to good use, working with clients and management teams to achieve their ambitions.”

Scott Heath, Executive Director, commented “Bringing commercial funding in-house is yet another move to ensure our clients receive a full and seamless service. The funding landscape is increasingly complex and can often result in barriers to growth.”

“David and his team have expert knowledge in all areas of lending, they’re agile and have the ability to tailor solutions to the needs of our clients. Whether an organisation is looking to expand, refinance or develop their business, the DJH Mitten Clarke Commercial Funding team will work hard to tailor the right solution for their business.”

The latest move adds to a busy year for our business which also included the acquisition of Manchester accountancy practice, Lloyd Piggott, the second acquisition since DJH and Mitten Clarke merged in March this year.
