We’re aiming for B Corp Certification!

We’re on a mission to make the world better, one number at a time

B Corp Certification Announcement with Scott Heath

We have some incredibly exciting news to share. We are delighted to announce that DJH Mitten Clarke is embarking on a significant journey to obtain B Corp certification. Yes, you heard it right! We are diving headfirst into purposeful business, ready to make a positive impact on our team, communities, and the environment like never before.

You know us, we always aim to bring passion, ambition, and, let’s not forget, fun to the numbers and business advice. So, going for B Corp certification was a no-brainer for us. It’s about going beyond the usual business approach and making sure we are doing our part to create a better world. By becoming a B Corp, we are joining forces with a global community of like-minded companies, shaking things up, and showing that business can be a force for good and can truly commit to sustainability.

Scott Heath, CEO, said, “We couldn’t be more excited about this incredible journey we are about to embark on. As trusted business advisors, we know the power of leading by example. And now, we are taking it up a notch by putting sustainability at the core of everything we do.

“With B Corp certification, we are making a commitment to our team, our clients, our partners, and the world, that we are serious about making a positive impact and building a brighter, more sustainable future.”

We have a long way to go to achieve the B Corp stamp of approval. After a rigorous review of our current practices, policies, and performance, we now have a roadmap to make clear improvements before we are formally assessed by B Lab. They will be examining every aspect, from how we run things internally to how we engage with our community and take care of the planet Earth. It’s all about meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, being transparent, and being accountable. We are not just aiming to prove what we are already doing right; we are excited to uncover new opportunities to make an even bigger difference.

Scott continued, “B Corp certification fits perfectly with our ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and social responsibility in the accountancy and business world. We have always been passionate about reducing our environmental footprint, championing diversity and inclusion, and giving back to the communities we serve, but the B Corp process provides a clear structure and framework to deliver real change.”

By embracing the B Corp movement, we are stepping up our efforts and commitments to becoming a purposeful business. Our aim is to inspire our clients, partners, and peers to join us on this mission to create a better world, because we believe that when we combine purpose, ambition, and numbers, great things happen.

As we set out on our B Corp certification journey, we hope to create a ripple effect of positive change.
