Double Delight as Kate Hughes and Richard Askey Make Partner

We are excited to share that Kate Hughes and Richard Askey have both been promoted to Partner.

At DJH we are committed to developing our own people. This makes Kate and Richard’s promotions particularly special as both started at DTE, which became DJH in October 2024, as trainees, earning their accountancy qualifications with us, and becoming Associate Partners 2 years ago.

This fantastic news illustrates the hard work, enthusiasm and commitment that both Kate and Richard have shown. They continue to go above and beyond for their clients and colleagues, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth within the business.

Kate commented on her promotion, “I am delighted to become Partner. It is an exciting time in the company as we continue to grow, and following our partnership with DJH, we can offer even more service lines to our clients. I look forward to continuing to support the businesses we work with to achieve their goals.”

Richard stated, “It has been a longstanding ambition of mine to become a Partner and I am extremely pleased to have achieved this goal. There have been a number of exciting changes at DJH within the last 12 months,. I am therefore looking forward to fresh challenges in my new role and I remain focused on providing a high level of service to a wide range of clients, across many different sectors.”

Richard Taylor, Director, praised the two on their promotions, saying, “I am extremely pleased for Kate and Richard. They are both invaluable members of our team and it’s been a pleasure to watch them grow and develop over the years. I look forward to seeing their continued growth and development in their new roles.”
