We stand with Ukraine

£9,370 raised for the British Red Cross DEC Appeal

It’s impossible to miss the terrible atrocities happening in Ukraine. No one should ever have to live through this. Our hearts go out to the Ukrainian people and everyone affected by the war.

Our team were passionate about helping, but it can be hard to know how best to support. After some research we identified that sending food, toiletries and clothes across the EU is highly complex, meaning these items may never reach Ukraine.

We therefore, as a team, decided to fundraise in support of the amazing work of the British Red Cross and their DEC Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal.  As a business, we pledged to multiply every pound donated by our team by 5. We are humbled to announce, that thanks to a number of extremely generous donations and a series of fundraising events, we have raised a grand total £9,370.

Through the British Red Cross, the funds will go towards providing food, first aid, clean water, shelter, warm clothing and hygiene packages along with support for hospitals, firefighters, helping families keep in contact and more.

Operations Director, James Beardmore said “The current circumstances in Ukraine are absolutely heart-breaking. We know this won’t solve the crisis, but we do hope it helps the people of Ukraine in some way.”
