Providing festive cheer for local charities

For our Christmas appeal this year we wanted to ensure that no child was left without joy this Festive season.

Working with two incredible local charities – Staffordshire based Alice Charity and Manchester’s Emmeline’s Pantry, our team, along with some of our amazing clients and suppliers, became Santa’s little helpers and donated toys and gifts to local families.

The Alice Charity helps families on their road to a brighter future and is a charity we supported earlier in the year with their Bump & Beyond campaign. Emmeline’s Pantry is a foodbank that also take time in the festive season to bring joy to their families on Christmas morning.

We are pleased to say that we donated an impressive 39 gifts from our Manchester office and over 200 from our Stoke HQ.

For every donation by our team, we also contributed an extra £5 per gift from our great ideas grant, donating a total of  £195 to Emmeline’s Pantry and £680 to the Alice Charity. From Lego sets and Play-Doh to Barbie scooters and board games, our team’s generosity will mean that hundreds of children of all ages will wake up to a gift from Santa on Christmas morning – something no child should go without.

The gift-giving didn’t stop there as our friends at Moco, part of the Great Things Together group, donated 79 gifts, raising £395 for Save the Family in the process.

Operations Director James Beardmore said “As community is one of our five core values, we were really proud to see so many of the team supporting the cause and achieving great things together. We hope that this will make a big difference for many families this Christmas’”

Over the past year, the great ideas grant has supported a variety of charities, including the Gingerbread Centre, the Donna Louise Children’s Hospice and North Staffs Mind and we can’t wait to continue working with them and more in 2022.

Let’s do great things together
